Hi I’m Alli, an American-city-girl turned Canadian-farmer’s-wife, learning daily how God’s plans for me are far and above anything than I could have dreamed for myself- even if they look a little (OK a lot!) different than “my” plans. Grateful to still be learning how to love well the patient farmer after 16 years, and blessed beyond measure to mother and school two amazing, delightful girls and my sweet baby boy from Ethiopia.
I love to learn, create and be surrounded by beauty in the little things. I am an interior designer by trade but keep trying to hang up that hat in order to live intentionally in this season, to slow and be present, to serve and to love whomever happens to be at the farm! Oh- there is that little bit about being a recovering food addict… but I’m sure we’ll have time for that later! I love to share life with others so thanks for being willing to open a bit of yourself up as you take a bit from me.
Hi, I’m Anne, wife to Grant, and homeschooling mama to three. I enjoy good books, coffee, food, and conversation. I also love to learn, teach, garden, cook, and picnic, camp, and canoe with my family in the Rocky Mountains. I’ve been blessed to receive training and certification in Biblical Studies, Pilates Mat Instruction, and Life Breakthrough Coaching. My interests are in philosophy and theology, spiritual direction, and outdoor/nature education. My husband and I have traveled and lived around the world with a Christian missions organization but we now reside in our hometown in Colorado.
Sarah is just another saved-by-grace, in-desperate-need-of-Jesus woman living in her home town in CO. She’s married to her high school sweetheart and is a full time mama to their four precious children. They are a “schooling” family and love the chance it gives them to be salt and light. Sarah is the ministry coordinator for the mom’s ministry at her local church body, MVCC. She loves outdoor activities, photography, singing, cooking, meaningful relationships, movie nights with her hubby, travel, books, and writing. “The way God uses my writing, in my own life and in the lives of others, regularly has me flat on my face in humility and gratitude. It gives me such joy to see God use this very broken vessel to do HIS work. I pray that every word I pen might glorify the One who gives me the words, and that here you will find a girl as real as she can be on a computer screen.”
I’m Shannon, a constant learner who craves beauty, deep relationships, growth and fun. I am currently a full-time student and a part-time executive assistant at our church. I’m married to a worship leader, the most talented and tender-hearted man I’ve ever met, and together we’re raising two wildly fun little boys (expecting our third babe in January). My husband and I feel called to full-time ministry and seek daily to serve beyond our means and abilities. We are passionate about building community, empowering young leaders, and gently guiding others into intimate relationship with Christ. I love to read, create, explore mountains and cities, learn and teach, and to enjoy good food, music, friends and wine. Each day I understand a bit more about the woman God has called me to be and feel thankful and encouraged to join other mommas who are in the midst of a similar adventure.
Annie is a wife to the funniest man in the world, and stay at home mom to two amazing little girls. She and her husband are on full time staff with a Christian global missions organization. They currently reside in Lakeside, Montana. She loves adventure and has traveled to many places in the world. Annie is passionate about being used wherever she is at to impact others with God’s love and truth; whether that be a village in a third world country or at home ministering to her family. She desires to use her gifts to encourage others, and to bring out the beauty in otherwise ordinary things. She enjoys coffee shops (well, coffee in general), writing, watching old movies, quiet moments of creativity, and spending quality time with the people she loves. You can also find Annie blogging at Luv U to the Moon… and Back.
Debbie has been serving in missions for 30 years! She has lived and ministered in over 40 countries. Her greatest joy is her 3 children who are such a blessing to her. Some of her favorite things are people, creating atmosphere for gatherings, and having an open door to everyone. Debbie loves ministering, sharing and teaching in the area of hospitality. A ministry that can be underrated……yet so powerful. As a result she wrote a book “A Cup of Cold Water” on hospitality for every beilever to glean inspiration and understanding.
